foot and ANKLe Conditions
we treat
At Podcura Podiatry in Nottingham, we assess and treat a wide range of foot, ankle and lower limb conditions.
Whether you are experiencing heel pain, a persistent verruca, an ingrowing toenail or difficulties with walking and movement, our aim is to identify the cause and recommend the most appropriate treatment options.
Common Conditions We Assess
Heel Pain
Heel pain is one of the most common reasons patients attend our clinic. Causes may include plantar fasciitis, plantar fasciopathy, heel fat pad syndrome and other foot and ankle conditions.
Plantar Fasciitis
Pain beneath the heel or arch can affect both active individuals and those who spend long periods on their feet. Assessment may include biomechanics and gait analysis.
Morton’s Neuroma
Symptoms may include burning pain, tingling, numbness or the feeling of walking on a pebble beneath the forefoot.
Ingrowing Toenails
Ingrowing toenails can cause pain, inflammation and infection. Treatment options range from conservative care through to nail surgery where appropriate.
Verrucae
Most verrucae resolve naturally, but some become persistent or painful and may require treatment.
Sports Injuries
Biomechanical factors may contribute to recurring injuries affecting the foot, ankle and lower limbs.
